Accounts can be connected through one of Alka’s integrations such as connection providers (Plaid, Yodlee, etc.), CSV import, Splitwise and many more.

1. Connecting new accounts

Press the 'Link new account’ button or search for the same command via the Omnibar (shortcut: ctrl/cmd + K).

1.1 via Providers

Select the most convenient provider depending on the type of account you want to connect and follow the connection flow:

2. Reconnecting accounts

Accounts can be disconnected from Alka whenever there’s an issue with the provider or a certain time period has passed.

3. Other connection actions

Press the “...” button of any account or search for a specific connection via the Omnibar (ie. “Connection: Chase (via Plaid))

3.1 Revoke

Removes a connection from a ledger.

3.2 Resync

Syncs the latest data from a connection’s provider.

3.3 Move to ledger

Allows a connection to be moved to a different ledger.

4. Disabling connected accounts

Some connections might have more than one account under them. To disable one, click on the toggle button and then press “OK” when the warning modal appears.
