You can import transactions from a spreadsheet by following our Standard Transaction Format.

1. Export to CSV

Once your file is ready, export it as a CSV with comma-separated values.

2. Open CSV importer inside Alka

Inside your Alka app, open the Omnibar (cmd + k) and search for the "Import transactions via CSV" command, then select the "Manual" option.

3. Import file

Paste your document's contents or drag your CSV file onto the Omnibar.

4. Confirm data is correct

Before finishing your import, make sure that the data shown in the preview is correct, then press return or click on the "Create..." option in the Omnibar.
