Depending on the total amount of transactions you have and how much control you need over them, there's two approaches you can take for dealing with all your past transactions.

1. Dealing with old transactions

All imported transactions will be automatically shown inside the Inbox and the first step is to “mark as done” all transactions that don’t fall within the timeframe specified by the client (ie. only show transactions after 2019):

2. Review remaining transactions

This step is about ensuring that the information that matters is correct: categorized properly, split if necessary, labeled or marked as follow up when further review from the client is needed.

The easiest way to do this is by grouping all transactions by “category account” and sorting by the amount of items in each category, then reviewing each item inside a category.

Once all items inside a category have been reviewed, select the whole group and mark as done in the same way as the previous step.
