Prices can be created in different ways:

1. Automatically inferred

We automatically create new prices for you whenever we detect transactions with multiple commodities inside their splits.

2. Create command

Trigger the Create command (c) then search for the Create new price option and follow the instructions shown.

2.1 Pick commodity

First, select the commodity you want to create a price for

2.2 Specify price

Specify the value in the currency you want the price to be updated in.

2.3 Price date

The date in which the price change ocurred.
